Since Huzzy is a BIG baseball fan, I decided to do a Take Me Out To The Ball Game themed package. He's not going to be able to make it to a game this year thanks to this stupid deployment, so I thought I'd take the game to him! We're Phillies fans, can you tell??

ReplyDeleteYay, care packages! This is the first time I went nuts with decorating it. He's going to be pretty surprised (and confused) since I don't really bother decorating the boxes, I just cram them full of stuff. lol
DeleteI've been putting together a Red Sox version similar to this for a good friend of mine. My friend is a huge fan and super bummed he's missing baseball season. Basically, I found this device online called the Dazzle DVD Recorder Plus. I got mine off my local craigslist for $20. This device gets hooked up to your tv/digital cable box, and will record the games straight onto a computer so you can burn them to a dvd! Not sure if anyone else wants to steal the idea, but I thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone else's friends/hubby's are missing the games! :-) It's the perfect addition to a baseball care package!
